Some people become stupid crooks, while others become crooked idiots. The chosen labels are strong and give the impression that pathology causes a profound loss of reasoning abilities and leads to total moral corruption. In reality, psychopathology comes in many degrees, from barely noticeable by experts during a special examination, to serious mental defects that are identifiable by most people. The highest degree of psychopathology is equivalent to schizophrenia, when the subject has virtually no ability to make logical associations. Interestingly, even some thoughts of schizophrenics are logical. Their pathology may not show in every act, but usually is manifested within minutes. By contrast, severely affected psychopaths manifest their deficits on the order of hours or days. Medium level of psychopathology can be manifested in a single event once a week, and the mildest psychopathology may only show once over the course of months. The level and frequency of detectable pathology is attributable not only to the psychopathic subject, but directly depends on the mental qualities of the observer. When two schizophrenics get together, they do not mutually recognize themselves as crazy. Similarly, when psychopaths get together, they find common unifying themes and believe that their thoughts and actions are logical and moral. In fact, the more pronounced psychopathology is, the more reassured a psychopath is that his reasoning is correct. No doctor is able to prove to a schizophrenic that he has a mental illness. Similarly, no one is able to prove to a believer in the supernatural that his reasoning is faulty and out of touch with reality. Just as amazing trait of pathology is its social character. In Germany, the most fanatical supporters of Hitler grew the same silly mustaches as he had. Also the whole military leadership of the Apartheid consisted of males who had identically-looking mustaches. These examples indicate that psychopathology is not just a matter of personal nature, but can become a unifying social force. Another amazing property of pathology is its global character. A psychopath does not show his stupidity or crooked nature only in one instance, but in many aspects of his life. On top of that, one expression of psychopathology tends to feed another when a psychopath tries to fix a current problem caused by his poor reasoning. The following examples reveal how the loss of emotional intelligence affects human thinking and behaviors in our daily lives. Afghan War In 2001, two dozen people hijacked airplanes and flew them into buildings. These criminal acts called for a police action, as other crimes do. The US federal government has handled many instances of similar crimes. The countermeasures targeted only the criminals and did not involve innocent bystanders. However, after 9/11, psychopathology kicked in and drove Americans to attack Afghanistan. A second dose of pathology came when Americans attacked Iraq. These two wars have been totally unnecessarily. They not only failed to defeat the enemy abroad, but created many more enemies worldwide and diverted our resources away from protection of the homeland. Crude Oil Disasters One form of pathology (overpopulation and overuse of natural resources) has forced man to start seeking crude oil in inhospitable areas. One of them is Alaska. To deliver the crude oil to the lower 48 states, the country has to use tankers. Any sensible person could have told the US government that it is only a matter of time to have a major environmental catastrophe. Exxon Valdez happened, but psychopathic Americans have not learned a lesson. Despite the Alaskan spill, oil exploration and drilling started in the Gulf of Mexico. Again, any reasonable person could have told the government that we will have an environmental disaster because this kind of activity is inherently risky and is bound to result in problems one day. Nowadays, the Gulf of Mexico is being flooded with crude oil gushing out of an underwater well, but the US government or the People are incapable of stopping all sea drilling for good. Evidently, psychopaths never learn, and their brain damage is permanent. In addition, to fight the spill, the government dumps additional harmful chemicals into the Carribean sea, as if the toxic effects of crude oil were not bad enough. Idiotic English Linguists know that English is a heavily idiomatic language. Largely because of political correctness, English has also become idiotic. Politically correct writers often convert a singular noun or pronoun to a plural form in an effort to include both males and females, and the resulting constructs may result in logical incongruities of animation, meddling, telepathy, or other forms. A few examples follow:
The Swine Flu The US government has decided to vaccinate over 100 million Americans against the swine flu by fall of 2009. Instead of closing the national borders at the outbreak, before the swine flu became epidemic, the government chose to do nothing. Now the same government wants to use the opportunity to make extra money. The vaccinations, if implemented, will be totally unnecessary. The virus is relatively harmless to humans and can become dangerous to most people only if it mutates. Naturally, the current vaccine will be ineffective against the mutated virus. Through its criminal negligence, the US government has caused 1 million needless infections, and now the same government wants to needlessly vaccinate 100 million Americans. The vaccinations, as usual, will not be safe. They may cause deaths and crippling illnesses. The only thing that matters is monetary profit of the US government and its pharmaceutical buddies. If you remember, the Bush II administration was pushing vaccination against the dangers of nonexistent anthrax. The more you learn about politics, the more you realize that the US government is a one-party system. Supreme Court Replacement Who needs Sonia Sotomayor? Who needs a supreme court judge, who is paid $1 million a year for running someone's life? This is a serious problem, and the subjugation is entirely voluntary. We want people like Sotomayor, Clarence, Scalia, Ginsburg, or other member of the most exclusive club in Washington D.C. to run our lives. No, we do not want a democracy by the People and for the People. We want a person standing above the law, who is accountable to no one, to tell us what we may or may not do. We want him or her to tell us what the law is, what we need, and what is best for us. That is the beauty of Psychopathic Democracy. Only when we realize the full meaning of our behaviors, can we understand the statement that democracy is not good for China. The government or just the Gang of Four should, according to the beliefs of many Chinese, make the laws and run people's lives. Although Americans reject such a notion and are vocal about their rights, freedoms, and democracy, they readily submit to the will of the Gang of Five of the Supreme Court. Such blind obedience of an unelected, unaccountable, and perpetual entity that makes decisions about your life is not democracy; it is pure psychopathology. Thus, the behaviors of most Americans have shown that true democracy is not good for the United States either. Deep in their hearts, Americans believe that religious-like dogmatic control by a figurehead is so much better than exercising one's will is. "If the Iranians could only see it that way," Ayatollah Khamenei sighs. | |
